We are certainly in tough economic times. It is more difficult to secure credit and capital to start or expand a business. However tough the times may be that does not stop us from moving forward. So the following came to me as a bit of a surprise.
TVNewser has learned The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch has been put on hiatus, but not canceled. An insider with knowledge of the situation tells TVNewser the idea of a “success show” is not right in this economic climate. The show began its run in 2004.
The idea of a success of a success show is not right in this economic climate? Well when I was a boy my dog’s favorite treat was “BALONEY”.
The Big Idea provided a platform for those seeking ideas and inspiration. Does CNBC think that entrepreneurs will simply wait for times to be better to start or grow their business? The old axiom “success waits for no man” is still true today.
Now I’m not saying to blindly pursue your enterprise without regard to market conditions. I am saying that if you do your research and position (or reposition) your business given the current climate is there a better time than now to get started? So CNBC bring back “The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch”.
