Now, with the emergence of web T.V. sites like http://www.hulu.com which replays network T.V. shows the big push is underway to transform video content delivery. As technology progresses the main stream T.V. set will be used less and less.

I predict in the near future, small laptops and Smartphones will be able to project a high quality virtual screen. So your entertainment will be more portable than ever. Yes, today Smartphones have the ability to view video but this will be greatly enhanced by a virtual projection method.

So if you’re a company owner or marketer you need to be producing video content now that fits the portable landscape. The timing is now to get ahead of the video production/distribution curve.

As for myself I currently have 2 mini-shows in the pre-production stage. Each geared towards niche demographics. Even if you begin with viral/promo homemade videos and learn how to effectively distribute them you are taking a step in the right direction.

The fact of the matter is that I make my living by marketing on the Internet. It is also a fact that I never started out with that intention. In 2003 I had seen a flash movie promoting a business opportunity. After studying the methods used by this site I asked myself a question. How can I do this better? I liked what the site was doing but I felt it could be improved upon.

Now, at this point in time, emailing and web surfing were my only web skills. That’s it! I had never even heard of HTML, autoresponders or keywords. I was totally green but I was certain I could not only duplicate but also improve upon the success of their system.

So I came up with my solution and called the only programmer I knew. I told him my idea and asked if he could build it. His answer was yes. Several months later I launched my system for a direct sales company and the results were staggering. In five short months we had over one million people opt in. Honestly at that point I really had not fully realized what I accomplished.

Well, I went on to learning about the technical components of Internet stuff, as I like to call it (but please do not ask me to write a line of code). I then went on to build more sites with great results as the first. Then people who wanted systems and websites to sell their products were contacting me for assistance.

At this point in time I had just sold a direct sales company I owned with partners that sold information products of well-known authors and speakers. As opposed to shipping physical products I digitized their products and delivered it all on the net.

I had come to agreement with one of my previous partners and a new partner on starting another company. After completing all that was needed of me to open the doors I was waiting on our programming partner to finish his work. While waiting upon him to finish I wrote a paper entitled the Steven Seppinni 2.0 E Commerce model for speakers, authors and educators.

I have never released that paper publicly (yet), what it did for me was add a great deal of clarity to the ideal methods of marketing products on the net. To the point it helped put a clients book on the NY Times best seller list.

Well, the waiting for the programmer continued to the point that I left that business before it even started. Something didn’t smell right with the programming partners stories (it took another year before they opened).

During the course of this I had ongoing conversations with my friend Scott Magers. He too had gotten involved in Internet marketing. Scott is a nutrition product formulator by trade. One of his products has sold in excess of 500 million dollars (mostly online). Also Scott is the nutrition coach for an NBA team, MLB players and Olympic athletes.

As our talks continued we realized we each had different yet complimentary skill sets related to Internet marketing. So we decided to team up and start a company. The interesting thing is that we never put up a website for this enterprise. All of our business as been by referrals. Our client base includes, authors, speakers, nutrition companies, a real estate developer, direct sales companies and on.

Over the last few years we’ve had so many company owners approach us to teach their staffs Internet marketing. Plus I’ve lost count as to how many individuals have asked us to share our knowledge with them. In either case the cost we would have to charge for our time would be very expensive. And we did not feel good about charging ten’s of thousand of dollars.

So about a year ago we decided to do something about it. We decided to put together a comprehensive Internet training program that was affordable to all. We have been building a virtual library of videos, tools, and turn key systems that will be at your fingertips.

The majority of people ask how to make money on the Internet. The good news is that are several ways. We’ll assist you in finding exactly what’s right for you. Plus we provide a number of turnkey options that you can start right away.

I kid around with our staff when we are putting out a system or marketing site and I ask, “Is it Gump proof?” I like things simple and easy to understand. Even though Forrest Gump is a movie character I think you get my point.

The Internet is ever evolving, as will be our platform. Each month we will add the latest cutting edge materials and tools to keep you up to speed. In fact, we already have things like text marketing available to you. Since the future of Internet marketing is reaching out to Smartphones now is a good time to get ahead of the curve.

We have also begun dialog with Universities and Business Schools. In the future we will look to have ongoing relationships with such institutions.

We find what works best is to duplicate success. If a business is successful than learn to duplicate that and as time goes on put your touch on it. Why do franchises work so well? They are built on the model of duplication.

With that in mind we decided to name this platform iduplicate. The tag line is very simply the word success. So, iduplicate success.

The site address is www.iduplicate.com we have not officially opened, as of yet however you can become a VIP by going to the site and telling us your name and email address. This way we can notify you open our opening. In the meantime I’d like to give you a Twitter social media training as a free gift. Once you visit www.iduplicate.com not only will you see an interview of me you’ll get your gift there as well.

Whew! It just turned midnight here and it’s time to hit the hay. I grew up in New York City so I have no idea why I talk about hitting the hay. Well maybe I’ll dream about pizza tonight.

In closing, when I was a boy my grandfather Jack would counsel me on getting into a business that was without limits. He gave me two pieces of advice, “Get an education or educate yourself. It’s one thing nobody can ever take away from you” and “Get into real estate or a field like real estate where there is no glass ceiling and no one can hold you down”. That advice was over 30 years ago. Yet to me it is as timely now as it was then. The Internet offers us all the opportunity to educate ourselves and prosper to the degree in which we strive for.

I was invited to be a guest on a global Internet radio program. They asked to interview me for an hour regarding the topic of Internet marketing. I agreed to go on the show and went down to the radio station today.

When I arrived I was asked to sign some documents prior to going on the air. To my absolute surprise one of them was a non-compete agreement. Basically stating that I would not enter into the online radio business now or in the future. When I inquired why they would want me to sign a non-compete just to be a guest on the show the reply was this is our standard agreement.

At this point I was pissed. I said there is no way I would sign a non-compete just to be a guest. Can you imagine NBC or CBS saying to a guest if you appear on one of our shows you cannot be in the TV business. Ridiculous is the first word I think of.

Now I currently do not have any intentions of starting an online radio business but that really does not matter. What matters is I am not willing to limit my future business prospects because someone tells me this is their standard agreement.

I stated to this person I would be a guest but I refused to sign their non-compete. So a phone call was made and the response was that I had to sign in order to go on the show. My response was to say good-bye and I walked out the door.

Are there times a non-compete agreement is reasonable? The answer is certainly yes however both parties need to benefit in order to enact such an arrangement.

I never let anyone bully me into signing anything or agreeing to limit my future prospects to suit their selfish desires. Nor should you. Sometimes it’s best just to walk out the door. Your next opportunity is always closer that you think.

buddy Ron’s beachfront estate in Laguna Beach. This was one of those “by invitation only” types of deals. So at the end of day one Lynn decided to go jogging on the pristine beach. I waited patiently in ambush mode with my little cannon power shot (love that thing) and shot this little video of the beautiful Lynn Rose.

At that 2 day event, an idea was created for a non-profit social network that will launch shortly. Ron is spearheading the operation and I will be able to announce it shortly. So I will be deploying some of my social media strategies to get the word out. Stay tuned for further announcements.

I was visiting my buddy Omar Periu at a Trump event he was the MC for in Marina Del Rey, California. While during a break I broke out my Canon Power Shot and filmed this video and snapped a few photos. So you’ll hear my voice as I’m giving Omar a (friendly) hard time. By the way, if you have not had the opportunity to hear him speak definitely do so. He is without a doubt one of the best speakers you’ll ever hear.
