Sometimes we take words and terms for granted. I was recently discussing the benefits of having an optimized Wordpress Blog that is tied to active social media activities with a business associate. Before I could finish he cut me off and said that everyone was doing that and you’d just get lost in the crowd.
And this is why the opportunity exists for those of us who know better. It’s easy for people to dismiss what on the surface appears to be a simple idea. I…

My social media expert has been telling me I need to start a facebook fan page. I’ve been reluctant to do this. It seems a bit self-serving to promote oneself and ask for fans. It’s like the joke “enough about me I want to know about you, what do you think of me?”

I liked what the site was doing but I felt it could be improved upon.

I was invited to be a guest on a global Internet radio program. They asked to interview me for an hour regarding the topic of Internet marketing. I agreed to go on the show and went down to the radio station today.
When I arrived I was asked to sign some documents prior to going on the air. To my absolute surprise one of them was a non-compete agreement. Basically stating that I would not enter into the online radio business now or in the future.…
