We are certainly in tough economic times.  It is more difficult to secure credit and capital to start or expand a business.  However tough the times may be that does not stop us from moving forward.  So the following came to me as a bit of a surprise.

When I was 7 years old living in Queens New York is when my first entrepreneurial spark hit me. We lived in a new apartment complex and many of the buildings were still under construction. So I thought as opposed to creating a lemonade stand to sell beverages to the thirsty construction workers I would sell them ice-cold beer.

I reasoned that construction workers would prefer beer (especially Rheingold, my first demographic study) than lemonade. As you can imagine I ran into a bit of resistance.…

I was on the phone recently and I told the person just to copy and paste the link I had sent him.  He proceeded to tell me that he did not know how to do this and that most people did not.  When I explained that copying and pasting is the mathematical equivalent of 2+2=4 he said,  “well all right I’ll Google it then”.   He knows about Google but not how to do the simplest of computer functions.  Good thing they don’t have the TV…
